The Best Restaurants in Utah County: A Local Realtor's Guide

Whether you're looking to mix up your dining routine or simply want to taste the best of Utah County, there's something on our list for every craving. From award-winning barbecue to authentic Indian cuisine, here's a roundup of our personal favorite local restaurants in Utah County and beyond.

1. Block Restaurant (Provo)

Block Restaurant comes highly recommended from Ri Fuller, a member on our team. Known for their fine dining and farm to table recipes, Block Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Provo. Dinner entrees range from $30-$50 dollars a plate making it one of the more expensive options in Utah County, but it's worth every penny.

2. Little India (American Fork)

Named one of Yelp's Top 100 Restaurants in America in 2024, Little India is beloved for its flavorful butter chicken, garlic naan, and welcoming atmosphere. If you're craving rich, authentic Indian food, this is the place.

3. Mastra Italian Bakery Bistro (American Fork)

The best authentic Italian food made daily from scratch! One of our clients, Melissa Jarrett, recommended this spot and we think it’s one of the best kept secrets in Utah County. Their mouthwatering traditional Italian pasta dishes like carbonara, lasagna, and cacio e pepe will keep you coming back for more.

4. Milagros (Orem)

Milagros is one of our favorite spots when going out to lunch as a team, and their queso is a must-order item for the table. Known for their friendly service and a wide variety of side dishes, Milagros is sure to satisfy your Mexican food cravings.

5. Kitchen 88 (K88) (American Fork)

Get the best of fine dining in a casual setting at K88! It’s one of the only places where you can get tri-tip, roasted trout, or pork tenderloin for a great price and without waiting to be served. We also recommend trying the sweet potato fries.

6. Tsunami Restaurant & Sushi Bar (Lehi)

This modern sushi spot offers creative rolls, fresh sashimi, and upscale ambiance. With consistent quality and presentation, it's one of the best sushi restaurants in the county.

7. R&R BBQ (Lehi)

If you're into smoked meats, R&R BBQ is a local favorite. The pulled pork, brisket, and ribs are fall-off-the-bone delicious, and the portions are generous.

8. TRUreligion (Orem)

Even though it’s not open for dinner, we couldn’t leave the best breakfast/brunch location in Utah County off our list. You’ll want to get to TRUreligion early, because it’s always busy and they don’t take reservations. Try the thick-sliced bacon, tender steaks, and biscuit based breakfasts on your next brunch outing!

9. Mi Ranchito (Orem)

Located by the University Place Mall, Mi Ranchito was nominated for our list by our real estate photographer, Kevin Guthrie. The food overflows the extra-large plates for a great price without sacrificing quality. The shrimp quesadilla is one of the best items on the menu!

10. Cafe Galleria (Midway)

Although Cafe Galleria isn’t technically in Utah County, we had to add it to our list because the ambiance of the alpenglobes and delicious rustic Italian food are hard to top! Afterall, it’s just a quick 30 minute drive up Provo Canyon. The lasagna and ravioli are two of our favorite dishes, but the breakfast menu is a fun and tasty alternative.

Dessert:

Vinci Authentic Gelato (Provo)

If you’ve been to Europe, you know how good authentic gelato is and how hard it can be to find it in the United States. Vinci Gelato is the real deal! Just read names of the gelato flavors and you’ll be sold. If you’re new to the gelato scene, nocciola (hazlenut), stracciatella (chocolate chip) and pistachio are great places to start. Try pairing cocco (coconut) with a fruit flavor for a lighter treat.

Rockwell Ice Cream (Provo)

When it comes to dessert, it’s hard to beat high-quality icecream. Located just across the street from the Provo City Center Temple, Rockwell Ice Cream often has a long line of loyal customers snaking out the door.

Provo and Lehi Bakeries

If you love cookies, cakes, or basically any kind of pastry, the Provo and Lehi bakeries are the places to visit. Both bakeries are known for their signature donuts (square glazed in Lehi and whipped Maple in Provo) and sell out quickly on weekend mornings.
